SPORTLITE, Inc. is an Arizona corporation, engaged in the development and marketing of energy efficient light fixtures utilizing high lumen output Compact Fluorescent lamps and ballasts. SPORTLITE fixtures are designed to replace metal halide, mercury vapor and high pressure sodium fixtures, as well as HO & VHO strip fluorescents and high wattage incandescent lamps. Our exclusive patented design provides near equal vertical and horizontal illumination on the work plane, while at the same time eliminating shadowing on products and equipment. Common energy savings range from 30% to 85% when compared to existing fixtures. All SPORTLITE fixtures utilize high lumen output compact fluorescent lamps and electronic ballasts. Benefits include stepped dimming for added savings and instant on/off with no delayed restrike time. These fixtures have the ability to be used with Photosensors and/or occupancy sensors to maximize energy savings and provide flexibility that is not available with other types of industrial luminaries. SPORTLITE fixtures provide high-quality light color, (CRI, Color Rendering Index value of 84). Lamp color and light output remain virtually constant over the life of the lamp, plus the CF lamps eliminate the ultraviolet radiation concerns that are associated with metal halide lamps. SPORTLITE fixtures are "silent operators," in that there is no annoying ballast hum unlike most HID fixtures.
